THIS IS A CHILD steps into the centre of our loudest cultural debates and asks a question we have quietly stopped asking: what about the child? Across the conversations shaping the next generation, about family, technology, identity, and the institutions meant to protect them, children have slipped from being our first concern to being the subject of adult arguments.

Through the testimony of those who study childhood and those who have lived it, the film returns the child to the centre of the frame. Not as a symbol. Not as a statistic. As a person whose needs are not up for debate. It is an invitation to put them before us.

Every face here is someone's whole world.
